Update information

Throughout the entire duration of your domain name, you are responsible for updating without delay, via your registrar, the information associated on your domain name registration.

Administrative update

Examples:

  • name of the holder(1);
  • postal address;
  • telephone;
  • e-mail address;
  • etc.

Technical update

It is about changes in the technical configuration of your domain name (IP addresses, name of DNS servers, etc).

remarque Warning: this kind of updates does not cover the transfer of domain name management from a registrar to another.

1: In case of a change in the name of the holder, AFNIC may check the request to ensure that there is no change of holder.
